Midsummer is a big event in Sweden. Swedes usually send midsummer's eve having a feast, drinking and singing with families and friends. We usually spend midsummer with my mother-in-law, but this year we decided to just take it easy at home.
We went for a walk in the nature reserve in our neighbourhood.
Beautiful flowers and pretty kids! :D
Ivan was trying to break a twig... I think he needs to eat more... a LOT more!
This cool guy is too cool to even look in the camera... =.="
Silly Polly is scared of walking on planks. She's afraid of heights and "suspicious" holes on the bridge... =.="
Cat-tail-looking caterpillar.
Angel made a midsummer cake with strawberries of course!
On midsummer's day, we invited Mavis and Fredrik to come over and wrap rice dumplings. I know that the dumpling festival is over, but here in Sweden, we really don't care what season or festival it is, we do what we want, whenever we want! :D
Angel's rectangular dumpling...
Boiled and cooked!
Fredrik made banana crumble with vanilla ice cream!
Perfect for tea break!
