After waiting nervously for almost 5 weeks, we finally got the letter from the hospital to confirm that the growth taken from hubby's head was benign, i.e. non-cancerous and that they are sure that they have taken away all of it, leaving none of the abnormal cells behind.
The doctor who did the surgery was actually a plastic surgeon, so his stitches was really neat and even. It was very well-stitched, one will be able to admire his "sewing skills", if one can get pass the blood crusted on top of it...
The letter we received was sent from the doctor's office and being a typical plastic surgeon, he ended the letter with this sentence (translated by me into English of course!),"We hope that your wound is healing well and hope that you are happy with the scar."
Well.... I'm not so sure that hubby is happy with the scar, but we're very happy to get rid of it and that everything turns out well!
